Hello to all… Spindle is back in the studio, recording some goodies for your anxious ears. A few new songs are under way, as well as a revisitation to some older tunes, and an exploration of some cover songs…
In addition, Spindle is currently collaborating with some amazingly talented musician friends of theirs, to celebrate the beautiful seasons of the Autumnal Equinox…
Spindle is also in the midst of planning some new shows…

Whelm is a song that was written a long time ago…four years maybe? I have constantly struggled with this song…there are so many versions I want to express…and I’ve thought about aborting it completely…we’ll see…
Whelm will possibly be a B-side off of our second album…
Aeriel is definitely a B-side of our second album…
Once we start finishing songs off of our first album (self titled) we will post them up, but we want to post up the finished versions…right off of the album. If you keep these songs in mind (the B-sides) I think you’ll notice a big difference in the mood and direction of our second album…which will be a real treat…I can’t wait to start working on it…

So, I’ve been recording a lot of new material lately, and working with new people. There are two new songs that I’d like to share with you
Aeriel is a B-side that may appear on a single in the future, this is not her original form. This is a piano version. I worked on this song with a friend of mine, Tyler, who is the drummer from the Bellingham metal band Choker. You can check out their music and more of his drumming at:

Carousel is a B-side from our first album, which is currently being recorded. This will probably be officially released on one of the singles in the near future.
Hope you enjoy the songs, they will only be up for a short time. We’re working on T-Shirts and some other goodies. If you have any ideas, we’d love to hear them.
